- The Hades House Annabeth and Percy need to escape the underground while their friends assist them from the surface. They must confront Hades and a plan to bring Gaea, the Greek name for Mother Earth, back to life.
- The Throne of Blood In the final book of the series, Percy and Annabeth battle Gaea, who wants to use demigod blood to gain power. The gods need to relax Camps Jupiter and Half-Blood so they can unite against their common enemy.
